Too cute! I think that the lighting here is exceptional. The flow of light from right to left, giving the pup a little bit of shadow, adds so much to the photograph. I can see how this flow of light could warrant a crop with the pup on the left. I would prefer to see the dog in the centre of the photograph though, I think that it is the dogs playful mess that makes the photograph and I would focus on that. Just my opinion and I can see a lot of merit in the crop that you have chosen (the lighting definately supports it). Great work

Hello Doyle! Thanks for your comment. I see what you mean by cropping the image. Thanks! Only I think I might crop it the other way, so the weight of the image is on the left side. It could have been snow, as he rolls around in it at winter enjoying the cold:-) All the best, Annemette

What a cutie!!!! Not much on Earth is cuter than a puppy . . . except maybe a playing puppy!! (Or the after effects)! :) This is a great shot my friend but the position of the puppy and the angle of his look suggests the shot is left side and that means (IMO) you might have more impact from this wonderful shot if you considered tightening the right-side crop. And if that's sand . . . and not snow as I first suspected . . . head for the local wash facility . . . whether its at home or at a groomers!! Lovely work - - and VERY enjoyable. Attached a crop example for you to consider (since this IS a cc image). All the best!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~
