About So much snow came down within a few days making us able to play, sled and freeze;-) Now itīs mild weather again, and January was the warmest month ever recorded. I wonder how it looks like all over the world? Too cold, too warm, unusual winds and rain?

Oh yes, dear Annemette, you are very right, this shows a lot about our different idiossincrasies, and they are so radically in contrary, in many cases :) Me and that friend composed an whole thesis about our different social behaviour...but we have no time to talk about this now :)
Stay well , see you :)

*LOL* That just shows how different we are in some aspects:-)A peculiar experience for two southern European guys used to normal people taking a nap on benches, under a tree in the shade and similar:-)
Thanks for sharing this, Jorge.
Take care
Annemette

2 years ago when i arrived in Copenhagen, i go down the train in northgate (or northbridge station?), and while me and my friend were waiting by the girl of 'couchsurfing' who would host us on her house, we sitted on the street to eat the dinner. We were very surprised when a young girl came to us, worried if we were homeless and we needed something. This kind of hospitality and sense of comunity, we dont have among portuguese persons.
I recalled this story when i read your comment, thats all :)
Take care, Jorge

Thank you very much, Ace. Itīs good also to hear from your part of the world and I wish that some people south of the Equator would also give us some local info. I mean we read so much about the global warming in papers, but itīs fascinating to hear from non-scientific people what they experience.
Take care
Annemette

Is it really? Itīs quite fascinating to hear from different regions of the world. It sounds like the climate is really messed up. I know that some scientists talk about El Nino and also that itīs typical that from time to time the Northern part of the world gets warm and the Southern gets cold. It would be interesting hearing from people south of the Equator!
Thank for your comment and info:-)
Best wishes
Annemette

great winter scene, love the low light.... and in Canada, it's surely the weirdest winter in my life... it's took so long to have real winter... and I don't think it will be very long before we lost him :(

Oh yes thatīs true. Iīve seen that in the news! Good that you donīt need to chop woods to have heat in your home - well, at least I assume that you donīt;-)
Yes, itīs snow that started coming down at that time, so I went out with my daughter on a sled. If I had trained our dog, we could have had him in front:-)
Best wishes and keep warm

Nice shot, Annemette! Very moody with a dramatic sky. Here in western Canada it's been "business as usual". Actually more snow than in the previous few years, but no colder or warmer than normal. Sitting at -15°C now! Cheers and enjoy what's left of winter! Gary

Annemette - It is darn cold here, way below normal temperatures here on the East Coast of the US. Less precipitation than I would have expected but very cold and windy with colder temperatures forecast for the next several weeks.
I see in your dramatic and spine-shivering picture speckles in the sky portion. Is that snow and sleet coming down that was captured in the photo?
--Best to you, Jan

It's supposed to be very sunny and warm - topping at 83 degrees Farenheit (28.3 Celsius) on Monday . . . I suppose we'll survive! ;)
