Dear Aniko:

I felt absolutely no disrespect for your comment. I normally wouldn't explain a photo in the manner in which I did to you but I think that you, of all people, would understand this photo once you knew the "inside" story.

Thank you so much for all the kind words. And believe me, if I would ever get the chance, I'd love to sit you on that bench and take about two gigs of photos. Bring your models, too! LOL

I never did welcome you to UF... so welcome. It's nice to see a talented newcomer to the site.

Best wishes,
Dave

Dear Dave:
I am sad about the circumstances as to how this image came about and I understand from my heart that the picture and the empty bench means much more to you than just a photo.

I'm a kinda whacky person (as I am sure you know by now,..)And I had no "reason" other than a very strong FEELING that I wanted to be sitting on that bench. I feel that now I have the story behind this capture, I would have liked to "fill an empty space"... perhaps within you? Give a friend some "comfort"... though we did not consciously know of one another at that time?

OK.. it sounds far fetched and forgive me if I have overstepped the mark...

I mean no disresept whatsoever.

Hugs~
Ani

Thank you, Aniko. This is an older shot from 2003 that I came across, having once passed over. This is in a Rocky Mountain gold mining town where my brother lived. When he died suddenly in 2003, I went there to take care of his affairs. It was such a tough time, I had to take some time just to go out and be creative.

In essence, this picture and the empty bench means a lot more to me than just a photo.

Thanks, Phil! This picture cost me a bunch of bucks. The hard drive it was on crashed and I had it operated on to save all the photos. But I did get them back!

Well, the translator still called the bench a "banco". So I guess in spanish, banco is both a bench and a bank. Yes, long seat is a bench.

Dave Arnold Dave Arnold   {K:55680} 8/22/2006

Me puedes comprender?
Saluditos!!!
