A bridge in Des Moines, IA. No PS other than sharpening and removal of some, um, not so appealing graffitti. Not sure of this shot but like the perspective. I tend to like the snow covered twigs but think others may find them distracting from the bridge...?
Thank you all so much for your comments. I look forward to returning to this spot in the future to try it again with a more spring-like landscape and without the twigs. Please do feel free to add to "Friends" - a person can never have too many and I would be honored.
The bouncing arches offer quite a dynamic compostion. It is very effective. As for the twigs, they're pretty all right, although I share your hesitation about whether they complement or dispute the main view. As for the lighting, I think the exposure is on the high side : we loose some details of the branches in front of the open sky. I really appreciate your work and if you allow, I'll add your name to my 'friends" list.
