Great control of background. one of the best baseball photos Ive seen. too bad about the foot being out of focuss. Almost perfect.

Christian, I guess I'm not really sure if this camera has a distinct advantage over other digitals in terms of shutter. It was listed as a strength of the camera and was definitely a plus to me as I knew I'd be shooting a lot of baseball with it. It is much, much quicker than the camera I was using before but again, not sure how it compares to others. Thank you for your compliments :)
Suvomoy, I was sitting behind and to the right of the catcher, with the lens poked through the fence, using a mini-tripod balanced on my knee... ah, the lengths one will go to.. :)

Excellent DOF and nice expression. Has your Olympus a clear advantage in terms of shutter lag with other dige cams ? How can you possibly freeze these moments with such accuracy. It's an amazement to me.
