Hi Andre,
while this one has some of the same good quality of the other shot, I think the bush needs a bit more space around it.
So good work again, but not as strong as the mentioned other picture.

Hi Endre,
That was the mood I was going for, so I guess I got it right :) These two tree shots are an experiment that I did for my son Derek. He asked me to try and make an image of a single tree for his punk band's next album cover. He said they wanted it to look dark and foreboding because that is the kind of music they play.
So far, they like this one best.

Yes, they do play pretty dark music. I suppose you would call them hard-core punk. Just a little too dark for me, at my age. They have been playing together in a couple of different forms over the last 2 or 3 years. They just played a gig in London On, two days ago. They have played in a lot of the local punk clubs on Queen St. in Toronto. They have played a few other places in Ontario as well. Still not making any money, but not loosing any either.
These shots were supposed to be just drafts, but he wanted to show them to the band anyway. It seems they like them, so maybe I'll have an album cover just like Andy Warhol :)

Wow this is heavy Andre! Do they play dark music? I think it will look beautiful too if it wasn't as sharp, but regardless this is powerful work!
