About My niece again, I am so excited because she is a willing subject for me to explore photographing people, something I haven't done that much of. You will be seeing more shots soon. She has just joined usefilm herself. http://www.usefilm.com/photographer/95277.html

I like this as it looks spontanious and not really posed, although it is. Having her in the light colours makes a beautivful contrast against the background. The pillar and bottom stone is effective.

you're lucky to have such a lovely and willing model alison. a very nice looking young lady. all i can say is i might have panned the camera to the right a bit to take in more greenery.

warmest regards ~ james

Agree with Dev. But then again, she is not a professional model, isn't she? Looking forward to see more of her images.

This is great, Alison - Neal already said what first came to my mind, and that is the wonderful contrast between the hard, rigid stone structure, and the soft lightness of Brielle, looking like she's about to actually come off the floor and float away - like something out of Peter Pan! :)

very nice portrait Alison, the white dress against the grey architecture is a nice contrast, very nice pose and expression. I read you daughters bio and found it to be very nice, like mother like daughter?

A great start Alison - I certainly have a similar problem witch is (poor quality when shooting people) but in here you have done a great job my dear friend with capturing such a promising model :) is this warm shot. Your background is wonderful here. Cheers.

I like this a lot because it has such a spontaneous feel to it. I also like the vertical pillar on the left. It gives a nices sense of the location. There is such an interesting contrast between the solid block pillar the the fragile human. Nice work.

Very nice..it's got a feel to the photo with the wind. Very refreshing. Just feel that that if you had your "model" to just close her eyes and feel the wind instead of looking into the camera..just my thoughts. Very well captured !!

Cheers
Dev
