Simply beautiful, Alison. You managed to take my eyes passed the dark walls straight to the volcano. Superb

Serkan, the name I am using now is my maiden name, I'm divorced but I kept the other name for the childrens sake. Guatemala is where most of my family lives, so I was down there visiting, a yearly trip. Alison

Nice framing for the moountain, though I would have liked to see the entire arch to maintain the symmetry and thus add to the sense of tranquility afforded by the view.

I think they're both very good. I thought maybe the figure added a little interest, but showing more of that decorative iron work is nice too. I think you'll have to show everyone both!

Thank You Alison! I definitely prefer this version as it really does show ff teh railing better and as a side effect the volcano is more visible in all it's glory too! All in all a much better shot don't you think?

Thanks again Alison!

I like this version of the shot, Alison! The view through the archway speaks for itself, although I understand you reasoning for the other shot.
Dave.

Nice composition. I like that the archway is slightly obscured on the left side. It almost makes me want to lean to the right to see more of the view and also saves the image from total symetry, a temptation in this sort of shot for many of us. Nice work.

They are both good but this one is exceptional. The interior provides natural framing for this beautiful composition.

Excellent work!
