thanks thilo. i cropeed the image square because i might be using it for a rock groups's cd cover that i'm designing. i'm going to work more on trying to lighten up the dark building.

interesting shadow/lighting composing, Erik. I like the sun beams and the different levels of color absorption in the clouds. personally, I would love to see some more reflections in the building on the right. That's a bit dark for me. not sure about the quadratic format here.

Thanks for the comments Kevin. Indeed the image was cropped for possible use as a CD cover for a music group, so the "dead" space in this case would be used for text.

The lighting and the patterns in the sky are lovely on their own, but the composition feels a little too unfocused to me - it's all nice looking stuff, but it's not arranged in a way which suggests to me a strong photograph.
