This was taken a few years ago, when I first got to know the girl. We'd been playing checkers...she was beating the hell out of me and loving it! Hence here smile and willingness to be photographed!
yeah a bit blurry, I was very new to photographing anything other than tiny drops of water on airplane wings (another story trust me!!) and was also just getting into the practice of printing my own film. I was probably out of focus slightly, but was also (until told otherwise) putting the negatives onto the enlarger the wrong way around. The result: a lot of my first efforts seem a bit blurred (some are better that way believe me!!)
Anyway, thanks again for the comment. Sure, I'm always learning from them!
Tha's a nice natural portrait. I lke tha grain, it enchances the image. To me it looks just a little bit too blurred... is it out of focus, or was she moving? Maybe it's just a question of taste :-) At any rate, a nice pic.
