About Found just about a half mile down the trail on the Suwannee River from the first cabin. Still had windows in it and a little more luxurious, but unfortunately in very bad repair too. Comments appreciated. Anson

This has such a strong yet gentle feeling to it. I love the bright and dark contrasts. Something draws me right into this. Lovely.

This cabin was much more of a challenge than the first, since it was turned away from the trail and getting closer would have eliminated the nice trees for framing. You are right, Giuseppe, the cabin becomes secondary to the overall content of the scene, but that was the fact of the matter. You saw this one just as it turned out and thanks, Giuseppe, for not being too generour. Regards. Anson.

In the previous cabin I appretiated more the shades, here instead the lights, filtering trough the trees. And I feel a deeper mood of mystery as the focusing point is concentreted on the path and all the rest less visible, even the house.
Beautiful this too (and don't tell me that I am too generous!).
Take care Ansom.

You know I never considered digital IR in colour for some reason. That may be something I will need to try. Thank you for the kind words about my portraits and lilly. The lilly is going into my first show in October. I will be sure to drop by again you have beautiful work. Sarah

That's what I intended, Sarah, and is one of the neat things about digital IR in the false color mode. A little PS work to balance the colors is required, though. I like your children's portraits much, but particularly like your "Calla lily" a delicately and beautifully composed image. Thanks for stopping to comment and do come back. Anson

One of the beautiful things about IR is that you can make a shot in the middle of the day and the camera kind of smooths out the shadows and the highlights, Dave. I got started in IR with a Fuji E550 point and shoot by holding the filter against the lens with my hand. That camera has a good internal hot mirror for IR and gave some pretty good results. Your "Sacre Couer" shot is fantastic, Dave with superb composition and color. Thanks for the nice comment, and come back again. Anson

A beautiful shot with the light coming through the trees and I like your composition, Anson!

Thanks so much, Yoshiyuki, and I spent some time in PS trying to get the tonality and colors as close to the first image on this page as possible. I am wrestling with a new camera still that does not quite produce the same colors as my older Fuji. I appreciate your comments very much and always look forward to seeing your florals. Regards to you and Gabriela. Anson

I like the atmosphere you managed to create here in Photoshop, very well managed! The light is beautiful and the whole acquired the touch of an old painting.Lovely tonality!
