Nature is continually offering a symphony to us if we will only listen, in this case look. The lady who owns this garden wondered why I was photographing leaves when she had so many flowers. I have to get a print to her for explanation. I really like this one too, Nick. Anson

Oh, here you have done it the other way around, Anson! The hard contoures are replaced by the soft ones, the light is so delicate, and the colors are but a song in silence. Nonetheless the definition of the leaf is excellent, since it preserves even the relief like texture of the leaf but without any additional effect.
Simple and wonderful, as nature can only be.

The colour and flow are effective. I like how your composition includes more than one leaf. The second one peaks out from behind the first and leads the eye to the left which adds a gsntle flow and depth.

Patterns abound everywhere, Raquel, and its just a matter of singling them out for attention. Your "Twilight" shot is superb; I have a predawn shot in my stuff that looks somewhat similar, but much more saturated colors. Thanks for commenting. Regards. Anson

The bright reds and yellows caught my eye too, Galal, as I was after another flower. Light came through the trees and struck the rear of each of these leaves, with a real burst of brightness. Thanks for stopping and commenting. Anson
