I just read your response to Robin, I suspect these glass slides were to be used in stained glass work, I do stained glass and you put a copper edge on the glass so that you can solder them together.

Thanks so much, Robin. They aren't so much glass slides, more that's me saying glass slides....when you try to stand it up....these are tiny little square pieces of glass, that I bought from a place called "reverse garbage" They get all sorts of weird and wonderful doodads that make great photographic subjects....I have absolutely no idea what they'd use these for, some have a copper edge....I also bought the glass test tubes there, along with a myriad of other useless pieces of crud that then get my mind buzzing and my fingers clicking with macro and extension tubes and lensbaby....see...I just can't help myself! A couple of cents for bits of glass and I'm kept busy for hours...lol!
