Some of us have eyes that can see beyond what really lies if front of them and this is a perfect example. A true artist can see what others can't. I love this photograph!!! I love it just the way the artist caputured it, simple and one of the finest photos I have seen on here.

If you could have just waited a few more minutes for the magic light to appear!!! There is a special time when the sky turns a magical blue and it makes a wonderful back light for buildings.......great job though!!!

I will have to agree with Ingrid Mathews when she said to crop off the mountains in the back ground. Look at the photo without the mountains and its a whole brand new image with striking appeal!! Good eye and keep up the great work!!!

I agree with Greg on this one!!!! It looks like a ad!!! Good Job!!! The only thing that bothers me is the white in her eyes but it can be over looked!!!

I saw a likeness in a photo while I was in Chicago this past summer. I can feel the tension in the girl as she is alone in a subway of NYC. Standing next to the phone just in case?? My eye is drawn to the motion of the train!! Wonderful composition and lighting!!!

Paul I like this shot. I like the way the point on the building points upward as the assignment states. It must of been a lite building at night to get the black sky which shows of the building well. To bad there was not anything at the top of the building to give it some "ummmmph" to the shot.

Absolutly wonderful. The floating wood gives the picture depth. The island is perfectly placed and the sunset well......you could not have captured it any better!!!! Wonderful job and congrats!!!

As a portrait photographer your subject is to square to the camera. Even though you have butterfly lighting on your subject it is not flattering. When was the portrait taken mid-day?? I feel she has wonderful eyes and you should have captured them more!!! I hope you can take criticism well and learn from it!
