Thank you Cheryl. In original the photo is very bright but the computer blackened it and teher is nothig i can do to make it clearer.Regarding the history of the photo ...well I can write a novel about it but I don't think the world is open-mindedness enough to hear it.

Nour you've got it.The image is only a mirror of my own ideas considering children and most important the treatment we should apply them.

Thank you Roberto. To be honest I was very surprised by the award because in my opinion my photo 'Old Dreams' is more interesting then 'The New World'.

The grainyness of the shot makes it feel so old and timeless at the same time. Part of me wishes it was clearer while the other is wondering about the history of the photo. Very interesting shot - she's adorable!

Marrilyn,
I realy congratulate to you and to the administrators of the site both for this shot!!
this is a bravely photograph:
bravely because of the most simplicity in photography out of the rules in photographer point.
& bravely because of the award by the administrators to this simply shot that showes their good understanding of the experimental shots and grows of contemporary photography art.

I have to admit... my curiousity about your image was not immediately directed to the photo. Your name caught my attention first. Then the caption. But then I started thinking, what's this picture about? After examining it closer, I realized what a heartening image this is. And the description you gave it makes it even more meaningful. I love the way the edege of the photo is inviting her to cross. The B&W vintage look is fitting. Beautifully captured. Congratulations on the SC!

idea is much much more strong than the image itself, your words are amazing, so wise, and the image are considered a symbolic element or a mirror of the idea, well done

Intrigued by your about. It adds a lot to the image. The vintage photo is fabulous by itself, but together -- perfect. Congrats on the SC and on being featured. Antonia

Very nice shot... she looks so innocent just standing there on her own! I love the olden day feel to it... the coloring, graininess... it all adds to that old-time type photo! Nice work! I love it
