Thank you David... I cant reply to your comment in the forum as I am no longer a member :/

Your comment on this photo is really nice... I've said many times in comments that photos are special to me for the memories they contain can be priceless... it is really nice to know that not only do my photos bring back my own special memories but also those of others.

This bridge is found just outside of Edinburgh over the Forth & from what you've said it does sound like the bridge you are thinking of.

Alas, I'm very disheatened with UF now & the way it is ran & I will be posting my photos on my own website, you will be more than welcome to come along & leave comments anytime :)

Thank you once again
Keep well & bright

Thank you Doyle :)

I will be hosting photos on my own webpage soon... with any luck... So the inspiration to go out with my camera will still be there :)

Peeps will even be able to leave comments etc like on here so that will be nice... especially to hear from some of my friends from here... including yourself of course :)

UF is full of really nice people, some I've come to know really well & one in particular I've come to love... maybe, like friends... sometimes paths take us in separate directions... I'd like to believe though that I will keep in touch with people on here... but the way I feel at the moment & especially after the words of a 'curmudgeon' (which by the way is a fantastic word that I've not come across before & I can see being used very often from now on! lol) I'm very reluctant to have anything more to do with this site... UF have not only lost my donor money, I'm afraid they have now lost me also :(

UF should have a proper form of grievance procedure in place... alas seems they do not.

Thank you once again Doyle... I've come to value your opinion, knowledge, help & friendship greatly over the short time we've known each other on here.

Keep well & bright my friend x

Thank you for that Doyle & as it happens I'm more annoyed with the comment Jeroen put in the forum.

I'm afraid I can no longer enjoy this site :/
Guess it's time to take my money & my photos elsewhere.

Keep well & bright Doyle

Bless Doyle... fantastic idea.
Alas I'm afraid I'm leaving myself... I draw the line at personal insults :(

A good friend of mine told me 'thats what you get for getting involved in the politics on here'... alas... guess that is a sad fact.

Anyway.. thank you for all your support & forever keep well & bright :)

Thank you Mary... very nice to hear from you & I do hope you are keeping well :)

Alas... my life is also proving hectic of late & I find I am having less & less time here... sometimes it is easy to get our priorities mixed up... for now I must concentrate on other matters... though I will never be gone from here completely.

Nice to see you returning :) Our hobbies are important & even if only a little time can be spent each week, it's worth it to keep our spirit free :)

Keep well & bright my friend x

Thank you Sheryl... your comment is very nice :)

I will still be around... just very limited with my time for a while. Hopefully soon my life will slow down enough for me to take a breath & get back to this place more often... it truly is full of friends & inspiration.

Keep well & bright

Thank you Shirley... I will still be around... just with limited time :( (at least I hope I will... may have a bit of downtime coming up on my computer)

I will still be admiring all your work... just alas, not a great deal of time to comment.

Keep well & bright x

Thank you Doyle.

The funny thing is... if I had tried to take this with my Lumix I think it would not have worked so well :) lol

(worth having a camera phone... some shots you just can't set up)

Shirley this is fantastic :)
One of your best & suits the words of Shelley so well.

Don't know what I love the most here.. the reflection in the water.. the way the water cascades down to meet with the turbulence below.. the overhanging branch... it all adds together for a perfect 7/7 photo & would love to see an award here :)

Perfect
Hope you are keeping well & bright

Beautiful & romantic... love the softness of the background here Doyle & that rose is crisp.. absolutely perfect.

I do love the fern to the right of shot, though you may consider toning it down just slightly so you eye is not taken away from that gorgeous rose.. just my opinion though :)

Hope you are keeping well & bright x :)

Hi Mary... I saw a horse yesterday... in a field chomping on hay. Not an uncommon sight in these parts but it reminded me of you & that I have not seen you post for a while.

I do hope all is well with you & that you are keeping well & bright :)

Beautiful composition Shirley :) Although I love purple (my fav colour) I do also find the B&W shot appealing. Very nice :)

ooo... the thumbnail made me think this was another of your model creations! looking at the small view I can see a lady lying down (in from the left of shot)... only see it in the B&W version though... got quite a suprise when I saw it was really a bank of grass! :)

Lovely shot cous.... really like that lobster pot next to the boat in this.

Hmmm... we all keep going to the same places at different times!! We really must all get together in the same place at the same time sometime soon :)

Ah! Could this be an entry to an up and coming competition?

It's good... like all the textures here & especially that little splash of greenery you've caught in the bottom left of shot :) x
