This looks like a painting as it would be made in the particular light you might find here... I may be imagining things but I see a smile under that brim :-)

A perennial favorite? I love the ginko leaf too but the smell of the fallen fruit? eeech! But that's the way things are.

Great action shot - you couldn't pose this if you wanted to. I like the color here as well.

Hello Bill - thank you for the detailed comment. I really do appreciate hearing your thought as you viewed this image. Good light is always a pre-requisite, but there is something about the larger formats that are hard to beat when it comes to portraits... Cheers, S.

You can always discuss composition but I like it as is. What struck me upon first looking at this is how the colors of the hand break off from the rest of the image. Makes me think desaturation or some sort of treatment that de-emphasizes that.

Den var fin. Jag gillar hur det vita är helt utan struktur, tar bort lite realism och passar bra med träd-silhuetten.

Ghosts... Never had a 35 mm camera that could do double exposure, one of the reasons I got the MF camera I use these days. I like the eye but the diffuse brightness adds a lot as well.

Ciao Roby - good little sequence here and a perfect way to present them. Taking a break from UF (and to some extent photography). Thanks for stopping by.

Awwww! Colors look good to me. Maybe a little lost detail in the nose but it pretty much *is* black, isn't it! :-) I'm glad we are not the only ones with pumkins left (two on my front porch right now). Merry Christmas to you!

I like it. It is unusual in that we both see the low sun and also trees that appear to have the late sun on them... Not sure how that worked out but it makes for a nice little paradox for me :-)

Puppies are so incredibly cute it feels almost like cheating :-) It seems to me that the focus fell just a little short here, but my eyes are a little tired at the moment. I like the idea of a pumpkin chew toy. Potential problem graphically is that the color of the vegetable is stronger than that of the dogs...

I'm with John - "attitude" is a good way of putting it. Big sky is great and this one has an interesting ground/Ged to go with it - I like the darker tones there. The scale is great - those little white things are seed silos, right?

That is just an excellent shot. It is fun to do concert photography. Have you worked with really fast film? You could do some great stuff with your friend.

Nicely done with a bright but defocused background to make her and her clothes stand out. Only nit would be clipping her fingers at the bottom of the frame.

The natural framing gives this a movie-like quality (that I like very much).
