Great image Kathy! I agree that it looks 3D, and I love the dark atmosphere, although you said it was sunny, hehe. Well done!

Absolutely fantastic moment Martin, the perfect exposure and especially depth of field (to boot) for her lovely face, which is so great that the amazing capture of water takes second place in attracting my eye. So well done!

Really good work Jim, to spot it, and capture them to get this effect. I love seeing surface tension in action, and it's just so good how the line of 'symmetry' goes from corner to corner and the reflections in each 'dent' are the opposite colour to the surrounding water. Well done!

Wow, a stunning shot for sure, well done! You've caught the face beautifully and the leaves in front of it form a wonderful kind of almost border. I think I would've preferred it without the intentional blur, or at least a slight levels boost (to strengthen the black and lighten the white) but that's just me. Great work!

Ram, this is BEAUTIFUL! It's just the most perfectly balanced picture, and makes it feel exactly as if I'm standing on a higher part of the path, about to go down to the beach. Very enticing colours as well. Great work!!

Very gorgeous picture...love the pose, the exposure, the crop...adorable and could have a number of feelings attached to it. Well done!

Hey Christine, love your work! This is a really appealing image, it's mostly the unconventional crops that give your shots the edge, and this one's no different. The angle and subject matter are obviously good too! Well done.

Wonderful exposure!! The expression and gesture are gorgeous, and you've allowed the viewer to enjoy them uninterrupted, where there could have been distracting background and lighting issues. The skin tones are beautiful. Very well done!

Brilliant, I love it! The tree is still sharp with the impression of lots of detail, while most of the rest of the landscape is 'painted' with large strokes for a soft, cosy feeling...I love the colours in the sky..that's very different but very pretty. The little blue/white object adds interest....
A great image, well done Alan!

Great work Alan! The colours are wonderful, composition, as Ann said, really pleasing to look at. I don't know how you think of these works, but they're looking really good.

Thank you Alan, yes, many a photo filter, change of colour balance and mixing of channels went into one layer of the eye (oh and shadow/highlight, which made it look freaky to be honest, I thought i looked downright crazy in this photo, hence the title) and just a couple of colour changes to the whole face. Thanks for your interest. When doing that it's hard not to end up with a million different versions with a metallic magenta eye, blue, purple, etc This is pretty close to the actual colour though...(rambling, sorry )
Thanks again,

Nadia

This photo to me is like a dream made molten! The colours and not complete opacity of the swirls make it first rate, very well done!

Love it, man. Those eyes and the stipe down its face...the whole pose..and then the colourful background makes it awesome. Fantastic Paul!

Wonderful work Alan!!! You can see like moss on a couple tree trunks and then it's like half the image is being overgrown with it. I get an alternating sense of lots of depth and flatness when trying to follow the forest floor. Well balanced...just a great post mate!

Hehehe, good work, very expressive...you needn't have called it 'no', your eye & eyebrow say it all! Ah, is that a glasses leg? I'm sure you took some with the glasses in it as well, like the stern teacher looking over them or something. But this one is good!

Many many congratulations on being donor of the day (sometime back, I know)! In this shot the criss-cross pattern created when the background and foreground interact is very good. Detail and softness on the blossom are perfect. Well done!

Forgive me for not commenting on your work lately Susie, I come here often and 'ooh' and 'ah' over your consistently charming photos, and then am lost for words after reading so many all-encompassing comments!
Well, as you know, I love the partial face shots as well...you did a really good job here! The pink of her cheek and the droplets rolling down it are important. The whole shot - wonderful!

Best regards,
Nadia

The original is great too. The different textures, undisguised by the effect this time, really make this one. The elegant numbering on the door and the three strips of different darkness once again bring a focus to the dog, which really looks sad
Touching. Well done.

This is absolutely lovely work Baha! The effect is very striking and though I am a sucker for the kind of blue colouring you used on the first of these shots, here the doggy and so many emotions really come out. Well done.

Amazing shot, I LOVE the water, and WHOA I just noticed, looking at it closely, that it totally plays with your eyes! Look at one side and some water moves to the other side (or maybe it's just me :P)
Great blue tones. The shape created by the tree 'sheltering' the moon is very pleasing. The water looks like a silk sheet, it's beautiful!
Well done.

Very artistic Ram! The composition is wonderful. I saw the title and wondered how you could make something like that look really good, but you did! Great work with the shutter speed and bringing out the vibrant red.
Thanks for your comments!!! Hope to see more of your shots soon!

Thank you very much Susie..I've realised that often when you know what something is you neglect to consider how other people might interpret it, but thanks for looking! Oh, and I hope my sister doesn't read your comment, because it's her at the bottom! Lol.

Very lovely use of colour and addition of texture. Didn't see the cat's face at first, but it made for a playful surprise. Great work Alan!
