I think you're too modest, Ann. It may be old hat to you but there's some good stuff there... Bit small though.
The only SURE way to get Al's attention is to post in the "Suggestions" forum and be certain to select the "bug report" category. I do know he personally reads those. Putting "Al" in the title also won't do any harm. I should think he would feel warmly towards one of his very first "customers." But he is reported to be under great pressure over the long-delayed Usefilm upgrade... so it's probably good to cut him some slack.
Thanks Roger for taking the time to look at my old stuff, which by the way, I think is really lame compared to where I've come to now in my world of photography.
Firstly I can't resize the old stuff. It was very time consuming work and I would have to dig really deep to find the originals so I would just leave the old photos as a then and now example of where I was and where I am now. Hopefully I've improved some. :)
Maybe over time I might be able to work on the old photos and repost them but for now I would leave them a they are.
If it is at all possible I would like to ask Al (as per your suggestion) if he can move my new "stuff" comments and all over to here. If not then I'll ask him what my options are.
Now my only other question is this - How do I contact Al? :)
Ann, you might like to consider resizing these beautiful photos and THEN asking Al to move the comments over, because the pixel limit was 640 when you started and is now 800 (with a promise to increase even that for panoramas when the new servers go up). Alternatively, if he doesn't want to get into that, you could reload the photos and cut and paste from the old comments, posting them yourself but including who they were from. Bit of a pain, I know, but you have some great pictures AND comments...
I've been studying your photos this evening. The bug on the lilly, how cute. The waterfall, beautiful, the airplanes very good. The Photoshop... I'm just learning about photography and I also have Adobe... Will I ever have enough time to learn it all? The wood stack, been there done that.. eeeek. How did you begin to learn photography? Did you take classes or just experiment?
