Gee that's a shame to hear that news Don. That will put a lot of calendar photographers out of business I expect. It was a very popular calendar photo site. I'm lucky to have seen it when I did then. Thanks for dropping by and for taking the time to comment.

Hi Ann,Tnx for commenting on my stuff and I needed to say you have a great selection of images on this site... I selected this one because it is the way I remember it for years passed.. The winter storm last year changed the whole thing and wipe out most of the trees etc... They built a small dam to create a pool but it's not the same..

I grew up here. Swimming and fishing were pretty good until all the photographers started showing up. The real challenge was to hike up to the middle section of the rocks. When we got back, the cold water really felt good. Most images of this location are in the landscape format. Your change to the vertical works pretty good.
