Hi dear Agung .. Well the tripod legs were deep in the water I had fixed them by putting stones beside the legs.

Ah. What I have discovered is that if you go back and edit an image there is a black box where you can type in some other shutter speed. So if my shutter or aperature is non-standard, I don't choose one from the drop-down when I load the image but instead go back into the image and edit those bits of information. I am in the habit now of uploading an image with the information I can, then just going next into the edit page to finish the information.

Well the shutter speed is 6sec but as there was no choice of a 6 sec shutter speed in the dropdown I chose the closest.

I appreciate the detail you include in your About section. Why is there a difference between the Shutter amount (5s) and your Actual Shutter speed (6sec.)?

Ah yes, I can see how my shot would remind you of this. Isn't it neat how a tiny little leaf can add so much to a composition?

Hi Cristina . Thanks for the feedback .. Well yes I did use a tripod .. but the ttripod was placed in the water maybe the flow of water has moved the tripod during the exposure ..
Best regards, aLi

Through the lenses autumn looks so beautiful, like u show it to us; u did a good job, but I can see that the long exposure affected the clarity of this photo, did u used a tripod?
Sincerely,
Cris

We have not yet met on the pages of "Usefilm", Mr. Naghizadeh, but judging by this lovely photo of yours we seem to have similar styles and preferences in photography. I took a similar photo of a leaf struggling in a spring many years ago, but it was on an 8 mm film camera and can't be posted. I already have several UF friends from Iran and enjoy our commenting on each others' photos. Your study of microbiology is also not far from my study of medicine many years ago. I also looked through your other photos and was impressed with the diversity of subjects. I liked all I saw. You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my portfolio. In the meantime I thank you for your very kind comment on my "Sunrise over Aqaba." Best regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann

Great shot aLi. I also like that Michael cropped out the overexposed part of the rocks. It strengthens the image and increases the abstract quality of the composition.
Love your use of long exposure. Well done.

Nice shot aLi! An alternative to cropping the rocks at the top left, is to burn them darker.
You have a lot of nice images in your portfolio, but not enough people pictures. You have a digital camera, it doesn't cost anything to shoot lots of them.

Hi Michael .. Thanks for your comment and your nice work on the shot .. I like your cropping apart from why you said you did the cropping (which I agree with) I didn't like the a-Little-overexposed stones on the top of the shot which you've cropped out .. I dont know why I never thought of that :)) :P
anyway again thanks for your great work and thanks for your attention ..
By the way .. taking this picture I was wet up to my knees .. my tripod was placed in the water and I was just holding the camera tight .. If The shot Isn't that sharp it's because of the high water pressure which moved the tripod !!

Ali -- I like this subject! Here is an alternate crop version that places the leaf at the lower-left intersection of thirds and seeks to narrow the visual window. I hope you don't mind, but my eyes automatically performed this crop as soon as I opened the image. Did you get your feet wet taking this picture?
