I really love the impact of colors in this photograph. The refreshment stand really jumps out at you. Excellent shot.

I love the whole idea of a modern Americana portfolio, but this shot especially, is terrific. There is just nothing whatsoever about it...it shouts COMMERCIALISM!

A real attention getter this one! Shouldn't he have received a ticket for parking next to a hydrant? Andre

Not just one piece of Americana but two! Ok, so the fire hydrant isn't red but even so - here in europe we don't have them (all ours are under steel plates in the ground). Nice shot - beautifully crisp and detailed and full of bright colours - really looks like you're getting to grips with that 20D! Well done!

Wonderful Photograph Jim, Great colors and clarity and Composition. I wonder if the fire marshal approve of setting up this stand here. The firemen might have a bit of trouble with their hoses....
Thanks for sharing? Thanks for the wonderful comment on my Photograph. GOD Bless? Your friend, Peter

Now this brings back memories of summer fairs. Nicely presetned. I wonder why he figured he needed to be right by the fire hydrant. Mary

What a colorful shot. Some one went to a lot of work decorating that trailer. Your sharp crisp shot shows it off so well. Even the fire plug is colorful, not the standard red. Del.

nice picture of the real america but why do I always wish some of the modernisms didnt show up so much and I could take pic with out wires and modern. Guess this is the way to handle the problem - make it the point of the picture.
