Fantastic architectural abstraction. I wish if only you moved a bit more in the center of this stairs if it was possible in any way and concentrate more on the spiral of the stairs itself and less on the surroundings.

Excellent choice to use the fisheye -- love how the stairs snail down and dump into the lobby so you can even see the doors and windows. Great movement and form. I am not sure whether the colors add or detract . . . and I think it might be stronger cropping in on the left and removing the leaves . . . what do you think?

Hi Zeev, this is indeed a very interesting and very intriguing picture. It is nearly black and white and the geometric composition results in a very eerie feeling. The one commentators mention of Escher hits ist best. In my humble opinion though I think the colour on the right is a little bit distracting to the eye. Did you try to render it in b+w? Just a suggestion I would think that it would become even stronger and more captivating. Best regards Jorg

Very intriguing composition Zeev. I like how the staircase spiral sucks the viewer into the picture and into the space. This "nearly" black and white picture in my mind would benefit from a black and white colour scheme. Just a hunble suggestion. Have you tried this? The colour on the right is a bit distracting from the strong geometrical composition and imo does not have a add on value.

Que interesantes obras se pueden producir con un Ojo de Pescado... Esta escalera tuya me hace recordar inmediatamente a uno de mis artistas preferidos Maurits Cornelius Escher. A veces pienso que sus trabajos los debe haber visualizado primero a traves de lentes muy diversos y quiza luego se dedicaba a componer sus obras geniales. O quiza su cerebro era capaz de visualizarlas sin necesidad de lente alguna... En fin... todo puede ser cuando es realizado por artistas...

Hi Zeev, Excellent use of a Fish Eye lens to create an unusual vision. It works very well. Funny to see the colour aberation near the edges; the fish eye lens emphasises the effect, which would normally not be visible. Thanks for sharing; it's definately very intriguing....

well seen and composed. I just wonder why you didn't remove the chromatic bugs like the pink spots ;-) [no great deal though]
