Le Luisin sits at 2785m, and this photo was taken at around 5.30pm, just as the light was fading. Wished I had a colour film as the mountains all turn red. Next time. Negative comments prefered, as I'm learning and feel the cropping is too tight.
Hey there. I like the mountain, and the cross in front is a good foreground object. However, the biggest problem here is the blurriness, I think. That could be either the scan or the lens, or you need to open up the shutter a bit more, and stabilize the camera with a tripod. As for the crop, I think a wider angle lens, and moving the cross a bit more towards the centre (remember the rule of thirds) might help. THen again, i'm no expert either, just an amateur like yourself! Cheers!
