About I was around 15 or so when I took this one .. I know the middle is over exposed but I thought I'd share it anyway .. It wasn?t the greatest camera LOL. Overlooking the Struie, Scotland.

I scanned it on a Visioneer OneTouch 8100 .. I can only get it to scan on 200 dpi so that?s why my masterpiece from the past is not of very good quality ..

Thanks Michael, I've done just what your talking about before and shot my old pix with my Digital camera. I was trying to fix the scanner when I scanned this. I think I'll try taking a Digital one and comparing the difference. Thanks for the comment and input as it is much appreciated.
Take care,

The title drew me in. If you have a crappy scanner, but a great digital camera, take a digital photograph instead of scanning, then adjust the perspective using perspective crop in PS (if you have Photoshop). Much better results.

Thank you Orazio, I was about 15 years old when I shot this. I just wish I could go back now and shot it in Digital to see what the difference would be.

Stu the colors are amazing, and the charming landscape is breathe taking, actually i wont say it is a bad in any way, and btw it is not over exposed compared to picturs taken 20 years ago .. OK OK sorry .. 19 years ago :) regards,

Fabulous landscape! Love the different textures that are represented in this image. the colors are nicely muted. The variations of green tones add wonderful dimension. This one really pulls me in. 7+++
