Having another browse through your portfolio, Dave. This is a fantaaaaaaaastic shot. No-one has mentioned the excellent composition, often hard to achieve in wildlife shots, or macro. Also, I just love the humour in this and other wildlife pics you do. Added to my favourites. Thank you!

and so have you, my friend dave, to catch your "I've only got eyes....!" so sharply. Some time ago I commented to somone else that in a photo like yours, the focus should be on the eyes and so they are in your photo.
Thank you for your comment on my "Potpouri, vatiation". I posted my original "Potpouri" about a year ago after having taken it in the very same shop.

Superior... Great shot, You must have stayed a long time freezed in your place inorder to take a beautiful shot like this one?
I like this natural green colour of the background. It's the first time for me to know that the Dragon fly has this nice blue colours on her body.

Wow, what a great capture Dave! Such a beautiful macro, very sharp and soft were it supposed to be soft. The blue colours are so beautiful against the green of the background. You were very lucky to found such a patient model (LOL).
