I'm glad you called me Rafi. Almost everyone who knows me does. This way we can do away with formalities from the very beginning of our correspondence and I can call you Erik. Best regards, Rafi

Rafi, Thanks so much for the constructive comments. I look forward ot diving into your portfolio as well. Simplicty is definitely something to consider when co-creating "art". But maybe just when we get very focused on simplicity it coul dbe time to find busier subjects again. What I'm trying to say is that we need to constantly challenge ourselves in every aspect of life, including our avenues of creative expressions. Ciao, Erik

This is our first, but hopefully not our last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm", Mr. Nedler. and first of all I took the opportunity to read your bio. I was impressed by your webpage, from which saw that like me, you like to take photos of Mannequins, of animals, especially carts and of flowers. Then I looked at your entire portfolio. That was easy on one hand, because there were not too many photos and hard on the other, because they were all good and hard to select one to comment on. I finally settled on the present one, mainly because it was simple and simplicity, I am told, is the one of the secrets of beauty in art. I believe it's simplicity also caused you to comment on my "Automatic parking attendant." You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my potfolio. In the meantime, I thank you for your kind words about my above-mentioned photo. Best regard, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann

Un estupendo tiro, en especial por no haber "congelado" las aspas de los molinos (no digo esto porque yo haya cometido ese herror hace poco, vamos, para nada) Saludos

Good idea Thilo although i think i'm sticking with my light pastels on this one. I agree that a touch more blur would have been nice. thanks!

Dear Erik,
watched your composing and thought: hmmh.. something is missing. saw ken's version, but don't think that's the point. I would probably go for a b/w or color balanced version. enclosed you will find an IDEA. an even smaller shutter would increase the blur a bit. great moment anyway!

Thanks Todd. I spent quite a bit of time with these guys that day out in the desert.

Thanks Neal. I do think the blur is more dramatic in the lighter "Friends".

Everyone is entitled to his opinion, but if I had to choose between these two images I'd choose yours, Erik. It's lighter and brighter, there's more motion to it, and the friends are having more fun.

Erik, I tweaked your image a little bit in Photoshop and brought the colors up a little deeper. This is strictly subjective, so feel free to hate it.
