I adjusted the top over-exposure with a levels adjustment layer, applying a mask to limit the correction to the top of the image. Then applied another levels layer to entire image to slightly nutralize the yellow color cast, and to slightly darken the midtones. Then used the Lightness channel from the LAB color mode, blended back into original at 30% opacity and overlay mode. Sharpened finally w/ Filter>other>Highpass, blended into original at 100% on overlay mode.
These changes can be greater seen on larger res images

The reason for the clouds was to break up the extremely bright sky.

I worked a little on you photo. I adjusted the brightness/contrast, some color adjustment, Adjusted the Levels and added some clouds. No Cropping. Please let me know what you think and if I can help in any way I will. Thanks for sharing. Shawn
