I find the lighting a bit harsh, but I don't think it ruins the image.. the highlighted drops of water sparkle nicely and make a wonderful backdrop for this amazing butterfly! Did you tired it out so that it would pose for you??? Great detail.. .I can only hope to get a shot close to this one day!
The butterfly is quite amazing, but I agree with Samuel about the light. To be more precise, I like how the butterfly is lighted, it is the reflections on the leaves that distract me. Perhaps they could have been reduced with a PL filter? Maybe you could crop a bit off the bottom, and burn the spots to the top left of the butterfly.

Tony, I like the shot of the beautiful butterfly. As for the lighting, well, I find it to be a bit harsh and maybe a little distracting to the image as a whole. Maybe you could try diffusing the light source (I presume a flash) and use a reflector to even it out a bit. Just some thoughts. Sam
