Such a great sky behind the windmill. Excellent colors. I have a windmill shot that was taken about a month ago and just this past weekend we had a storm go through and it blew down. Don't have many windmills left in this country. This one was was still working. Great work. I went to digital a couple of years ago. Started the same as you. 4x5 and then 21/4. Never got along real well with 35mm. You have some nice work. Don.

The colours in this shot are wonderfull Tony. The only things I think is a pitty is that there is a lack of depth. Ok you used 50mm and maybe I'm being too conventional here. But I think wide angle with more of the grass in the foreground leading the eye all the way up to the mill would give more feel for depth and make the photo more dynamic.
Just some thoughts.
Regards, Julien

Nicely done Tony. The placement of the clouds makes for a very effective composition. This may look very fine indeed in B&W.

Hi Tony - one my favorite of all your images - just thought of this - the bright area on the ground beside the windmill - have you thought of toning it down a little - as is the wondmill has great power - the cliuds seem to be coming from it - wonderful
