Unrestored was created from the original shot of Celtic ruins near Dingle, Ireland (west coast) that was "aged" by the addition of an old very yellow page from my grandfather's diary. PS used to combine layers and convert to sepia. Original will be displayed in comments on request.
Ken, thanks for your comments and encouragement on "Once Upon a Moment", especially the part about accidental discovery turning into controlled effects later on..i'm paraphrasing you but i really know what you were talking about. Also thanks for identifying the figure in this image..i like it even more now than the first time i looked at it. Alas, we can't visit each other's homes and see these images hanging on walls, again and again and again, after which they become part of the very fabric of our experiences, relationships and memory. This is just such an image. I can't see it on your wall so i will put it into favorites, although that's not the same thing. For some reason, i think you should not part with this image. It should stay with you always. It has that kind of intimacy. Best regards: kat~
very creative and excellent idea, great details and wonderful colour tones, perfect work, congrats, thanks for your kindness, appreciated, i made several shots, but only one was succeded (swan's bath)...best regards (5x7)
this image has a lot of atmosphere and textural quality. Like a sea of rock and hardship, the lone figure (is it a person?) on the far right is an afterthought, unimportant, just somebody in a God Forsaken place of rugged survival and raw natural elements. It is very beautiful. best regards: kat~
