Rafi - Yes, she is from Ethiopia. HMOMA is the Hercules Museum of Modern Art, my name for the former Hercules Black Powder Works which ceased production as a chemical manufacturer in 1977. The graffiti artists and paint ball warriors discovered the abandpmed facility a few years ago and turned it into a treasure trove of wall art. I've made about 10 trips to document the artworks and the demolition process and decided this ephemeral exhibit needed a different name; hence HMOMA.
