No problem Craig. That is what this site is all about. I would rather someone give me constructive advice on how to make a shot better or what I did wrong ( and lord knows that happens often enought ) then to simply say that's nice and not truly mean it or worse not say anything. I will try some of your suggestions. Thanks for your input.

Karen-- guess I'm going to be in the minority on this one. This is a nice blossom with excellent exposure and detail-- and very nice choice of frames. I've shot many water lilies, and in this case, I'd like to see either more sharpness in the background or much greater blur. As is, I think the bg has just enough "recognizability" to be distracting, but not enough to be informative. I'd be really tempted to put a heavy Gaussian Blur behind this blossom. I also think the blossom's dark shadow is a minor distraction. A tighter cropping of the blossom may work too?? Craig
