Yes Dave, we had a cold storm with almost a meter of snow in early Oct. Our leaves were brown and then down, no fall colors just winter after a small warm spell after the Oct storm. I hope your falls stays around for a while longer.

Here is my truck after the storm!! This was the morning after the storm. It is so cold that the snow is not melting. Glad to have a warm place to live.

Yes it close to 0 degrees F this AM. Yesterday I was driving on ice and pushing lots of snow with my truck. Sure leaves the air nice and clean!!

Hi Riny, winter in Montana can be from Oct- May when the weather decides how it wants to mistreat us. This year our first snow was on Aug 16 in the high elevations. We had a big snow in Oct and the winter is finding us quickly. We will have cold and snow until late this spring. The nice thing about the cold weather is that we have no mosquitoes or other annoying winged pest.

Hi Stan,December is the first month of the winter in Holland. It can be 10 degrees celsius, but also sub zero, but that is rarely the case. We don’t have winters with a lot of snow and ice and such, and even if we have them, it is only two or three days snow and maybe a week frost, seldom two or three weeks Usually we see these conditions in end january / february. I do love to have a white christams, but that is only the case once in ten years, and even then it is only little snow...like the blue on ice,best,riny

We have had big storms already this year. Our mountains were without snow for about 2 weeks in Aug. Since the first snows in Aug the mountains are becoming white with much grandeur.

last winter,there was now snow at Mosul,we usually see some three to maximum 10 mm ,
so I have traveled about 250km to northern Iraq just to see the snow,and there is some few kilometers between me and that snow at the top of the mountains,

We had enough in this storm we could have shared with you. I had 2/3 meter of fresh snow in 24 hours. It was cold and lots of it. My best.
