Yes and I find Skagway not as beautiful....Yes I have spent a lot of time in Atlin and have a few friends that live there. Great place to have a 4 x 4 to head up into the mountains and check out the old mines.

Ahhhh... Atlin... my favourite place on the planet. If I were independently wealthy and didn't need to worry about a job, I would retire there tomorrow. I spend lots of time there in the summer whenever the crush of tourism in Skagway becomes too much (which is most of the time). I know exactly where you were standing and you captured this area beautifully.
