This is such a kind and a lovely story Ali:)So cute that the mother was showing you her babies:)))! Fritzi is not my fox but a tame fox from good friends from me!!But I can walk with him on the lash and my dog loves it to play with him:)) He is already 12 years old and normally in the wildness they are getting only 8 years.Hope that he will be there some years because I have never seen such fox like him!!! Thank you for your kind words and to telling me your great story:)))! Have a nice day, Cheers,Nicole

Dear Nicole! This is a more than wonderful shot for me. My first company name was fixiefoxie. Foxs are very lovely, smart and genious animals. On the first hand I understand that you have a domestic fox. When I was living in france. My house was just at the border of the forest. One day at late evening I seen a mother fox coming at the front of the house for looking a food in the garbage basket. But she must cross the street. This was dangerous. After that every evening I was bringing the basket filling with chicken at the opposite side of the road. And the early morning back again. Two months later, from the window of the kitchen I seen 3 pairs of eyes. They was a mother fox and two little baby fox. Maman was bring the babys for showing to me as a trust. I live together 8 months in the garden. It was a very nice and lovely story. Very well captured. It fully filled with friendship sentiments. maybe this little fox also imagine him self as a dog. Very pure and clear. I am sure his happy with you.

Hi Nicole, Nice image of this "friendly" Fox. A couple of years ago, a Vixen decided to have her Kits under our garden deck. I used to come out in the morning for coffee and listen to them under the wooden planks. The mother would come out and watch me from a distance. When they got older, the mother would bring them out in our yard to play. Then, one day they just all went away and we never saw them again. Andre

I see I've missed so many great photos of yours while I've been away. I'll try to catch up but it will take a while, and I'm off again soon...
This one caught my eye because it's rather unusual - the fox looks like a pet rather than a wild animal. I like the sharpness and the grass in front gives some perspective to the image (I see that Alain does not agree...).

Hey Nicole, the fox is German, yes? LOL Okay perhaps not so funny:) Serious, before I read the about I wondered how on earth you managed to take a shot like that? Okay he's tame. But if he's tame you could perhaps have another go at his portrait without the disturbing grass in his face? It really draws the attention away from Fritzi. But it's just a suggestion dear friend... Friendly grtz,
Alain
