This trip was so beautiful and I'm sure that you will enjoy it too! I hop for you that you can go one time and to see all these beautiful Buddha’s. The traffic is a bit crazy and they drive very fast..:))! I preferred the Taxi-Boat at the river...more romantic too.:))) The City has a lot of smog, but anyway it was a great experience!!!

This is a wonderful shot of this famous mode of Oriental travel. A great diagonalised composure and empty or not it looks excellent. My wife's brother lives in Thailand with his Thai wife and young son....we hope to visit there one day and view this and all the other beautiful sights of this glorious country. Yes it was romantic in some parts..but also poor.They have a lot of poor people who live along the river in wood houses,but we would have such a "house" for lumber..that's the other side.But they are always kind!!!!One day we have done a ride with a bus outside from Bangkok and when you see all this and you are going in the evening in your very luxury hotel...that's really strange and not fair!They work so very hard and they earn nothing!!!

Oh Yeas a taxi-boat sounds Much more fun...I am not a motor cab/car racer... I prefer boats, bicycles, walking, anything but the cars/cabs the least !!! Bummer on the smog too... but when you're out of the city it must be beautiful :)) ANDDDDD ROMANTIC !!!

But you can't drive in this City,it's too much smog! A lot of people are wearing masks.The driver drives too fast sometimes they are making races between them..:)))!
I prefered the Taxi-Boat...more romantic..:))

But they are not all clean,this one was an older one. I have posted another one for AJ and you can have a look about it.This one was very new.They drive so fast,I don't have done a ride with.And the smog in this City takes your breath away.Just when you will do such a ride.I have seen some driver who have made races about them!!!!So I preferd the Taxi-Boats...it was more romantic too!!

Bonjour Fabrice…oh non je ne suis pas monté dedans.. :)) Ils roule tellement vite et parfois comme des cochons  .Et de toute façon la ville elle a tellement une couche de smog beaucoup de gents qui roule avec apporte des masques. J’avais vu des Tuk-Tuks qui fassent des courses entre eux ! Alors là tu peux d’imaginer comme est ce qu’ils roulent !!! Well Nicole! Your photo brings back all the fond memories that I have of Thailand. You are right, Tuk Tuk can be real fast, if such contingency occurs. I remember one night when I was coming back from Khao San Road and our Tuk Tuk was giving competition to a some really costly looking imported car...and let me tell you it was a real neck and neck fight...and at the traffic jam (as you know in Bangkok, it is so common) we went ahead...ha ha...really..what fun! We cheered our driver like hell! Thanks a lot for sharing this photo...
