Oh Beks! TRUCK?? What kind of redneck do you think I am? The tail belongs on the back of my hat! LoL! Ok . . . you've done enough damage to my sensitive, animal loving, respectable reputation that I have struggled so hard to put out there. Drop the mouse with your hands up and back away from the keyboard . . . keeping in mind I have weapons AND a badge. Do it . . . DO IT . . . DO IT NOW!
Man, that's more effective in person! LoL! I never shot him with anything but a Nikon . . . you have my word! ;)

Sleeping Doyle? Really....you say he's sleeping? Hmmm, interesting. Looks kinda like he 'fell' asleep in a funny spot, like he just 'dropped' down 'dead' from exhaustion maybe... Great shot of this SLEEPING fox, any reason for this particular crop?!! Did you perhaps not want any of us to see up the leg of his shorts...or something? Can we now have a shot of his nice big bushy tail....hanging from the ariel of your truck perhaps!! LOL But, seriously now....DID YOU SHOOT HIM??? Cheers, Bek

The branch on the left side was the completion of the enclosure for this guy's den. There was a very large log behind him. Luckily . . . the foxes here are doing quite well. :)

Good one, Doyle. I had suggested half in jest once before that there should be a category on USEFILM for "Sleeping Animals". They are at their most vulnerable and generally have to be pretty comfortable with their surroundings to sleep while being photographed. I would guess that foxes are light sleepers and have no idea how long this opportunity lasted but you were there and you got it. I am a fox fan myself and have stalked an old red fox around the woods near my house but have yet to catch the old dear long enough for a photo. Great expression on the face. --Regards, Jan

Such a cute fellow that adapts so well to all us humans spreading all over the place. Unfortunately most of the foxes(foxen) are dying in my area due to a disease. Poor animals:-( Sweet image. I only wish that the branch in the left side could be removed which would make the shot so perfect. Have a nice weekend:-) Annemette

I don't have any doubts as to his smartness - this 'sweetheart'... Looks like from 'franky furbo' by Wharton. But I wouldn't invite him even to my dream :) . Not to mention reality But nice shot ola

Hello Ola! Now . . . I'm relatively sure he's a sweetheart at night too! And he made a nice little den between a large log and some branches . . . so I think he's smart too! :)

A really wild guy, Doyle and a lovely top lighting is hitting him. I like the way you've managed it. The scene seems the point of view of another fox crouched behind her. Very well done! My best wishes! Paolo

Can't help it Doyle... I like foxes...
~~GRIN~~... Yeh!...I know the chicken coop and all that but, got to give them credit for good looks and survival instincts... They are clever, funny, adaptable creatures... :)
This one looks like a winter coat wearer... thick and a beautiful colour... :)
