Thanks Kes . . . the lighting is natural . . . thin white center and VERY dark petals. Adjusting for the petals you lose the white (texture) . . . adjusting for the white you lose the petals (texture). The balance is VERY challenging but does make it look lit from within!

It does indeed appear to be a garden within a garden. Beautiful colors.
Another thought that came to my mind was that the top portion of the flower looks like the Northern Lights "Aurora Borealis". The way that the green is mixing with the blue.
Well others might not think so - but I do.

This inversion worked out really well. I especially like the pollen on the petals which look like pebbles on the floor of this cave in which these unusual figures/plants stand. Great alien landscape.
