Excellent lighting to this interesting composition my dear Kes though the scene looks more like the garage area of the place rather than the shop. The tonal effects look great as sepia is ideal for this subject. Well done to you my friend an original idea beautifully executed. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray:)

yes Kes, you are right. I used this technique with "first client of the day". Someties results are OK, other times are awful; the DR of D80 seems to be very good anyway; best regrads...txules

Thanks Txules. More and more HDR is seen here on UF and perhaps also with your "first client of the day" image?
Unfortunately, my capability is lacking in that process, although the d80 camera appears to have been designed toward that process, with a "burst" mode that brackets exposure. that is if i even understand the basic process correct, of overlaying (some magical way) variously exposed shots & sellects the "good" exposure in all areas.
At any rate, you are right, the effect is interesting and pleasing to the eye. It seems like those images have a sort of sheen about them...really makes the skin tones glow.
