Thanks, Annemette! This is really just two snapshots on the same "frame". It was an experiment and not much time was taken with the set up but it gives me an idea of what might be attempted with this camera. As it is, most of the credit goes to the Picasa2 software program for making it easy to change contrasts and brightness of the photo. Picasa is great for lazy photographers like me! Cheers, Kes

Thanks Jinggoy! The D80 makes multiple (up to three shots) very easy...you don't even have to think about the exposure compensation. I will play around with this in the future with a dark background...although the picture frames gave this a futuristic (perhaps) effect.
All the best, Kes

That's too funny! So that's where they go! You see, this is why we need a fence on that border too!
Have a good weekend, Kes

An excellent artistic creation my good friend Kes. Highly dramatic in appearance, superb technique to bring it to life and the most wonderful monochromatic toning. Beautiful work my friend and very original, well done you. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray :)

Hi Kes, Good job on this multiple exposure! To go a little more over the top, you might want to try another under the smaller face's left eye? On second thought, maybe not. The shadow works pretty well over on that side of the image and adding another one over there might not work.
I was thinking along the lines of those images you see where someone is holding a picture of themselves holding a piture, of themselves holding picture, etc, etc,. Andre

Thanks Christine! Yes, Picasa2 is quite fun. I usually perform some quick contrast, brightness and color changes there and then scale and sharpen the image in The Gimp - also free. The Gimp offers some border feature also.
The D80 has been great so far. I haven't used it well...just taking some snapshot for the most part. Still waiting on my 18-200vr lens. The D200 is of course superior, especially for protection from the elements.

cool portrait, Kes... a lot of detail in the prime image is still visible through the secondary shot, which is very nice. I see you used Picasa2-- it's a great free program. I am struggling with Photoshop, and usually just give up and go back to Picasa, which is delightfully easy to use. I only wish it offered borders....
How do you like the D80? It would have been my choice, I think, over the D200, but I'd bought the D200 already when the D80 was released.
