This is great. What was the light pollution? I am surprised that 3.5 seconds picked up the stars so well. I want to go there. Can me and my telescope please come the next time? Too bad there weren't more bright stars on the left part of this. This is gorgeous. It reminds me of a clear sumnmer night sitting under the canopy of the night sky--very peaceful.

Hi Doyle.....First thanks for all of your comments on my images.

Noise Ninja is a plug in to Photoshop that reduces noise when shot are taken at a high ISO....I gives you way more control over your shot then the noise reduction inside of CS2.
It isn't that expensive to get.
there is also Neat image. Both are fine for reducing noise.

My Best Regards

Sam Graziano III

A beautiful shot Sam. And again I hear about the "Noise Ninja". When you have time maybe you could let me know what that is . . . though I imagine it's something to reduce noise without sacrificing clarity.

Great color and silhouettes.

Doyle I <~~~~~

Thanks for including the exposure data, it will help me if I somehow manage to take this kind of image.

Love the colours Sam the blue is great, the trees have been silohetted nicely against the sky, and the dipper is nicely visable, well captured my friend.
