I agree the foam is just a tad too blue. And the way the foot prints just stop is actually a little unnevering. Maybe should have taken them into the see.

Overall, beautiful image. Love the sunset and the way you kept the horizon in the upper part of the picture. I think more sky and less sand would not be as stunning of an image. This composition gives it more of a "here on earth" feel. Somewhere you could actually be right now, if it weren't for work and all that boring stuff. :)

This is gorgeous. Lighting and colours wonderful. The sun and the prints- really atmospheric.

Dear Sam,
due to CC I'd like to make 2 remarks:
1. There are a little bit strange defects (lines) at yours shot (white at upper left corner and black at cloud in the center).
2. Because of bluish hue of water foam I'd like to suggest my variant of this image.
Warm regards,
Serge

Nice sunset shot, but I would crop out the sky just above the clouds directly over the sun poking through. Let the main focus rest upon the beach with it's footprints.

Thanks for your comment Hilton. This shot has only been resized. I didn't crop the shot at all. What I was going for on this one was the foot prints in the sand walking towards the light. I have other shots of the sky that I will posting in the near future.
Kind regards

:) Beautiful image ....in my opinion, I would have cropped some more beach away to get some more of that beautiful sky in.....lovely colours.
Best wishes

I can tell someone walked backwards in this image to achieve the footprints - very smart. Makes it appear as if they just walked into the sunset and disappeared.

The composition of where the horizon line is in the image is perfect - not centered.

The colors are fantastic! Looks very peaceful and perfect for this project.
