Hey Sam:

I love to see different interpretations of location that I've had a chance to photograph. This is a great location, and I think you have captured the lighting quite well.

If I had to do this trip over again I would have gone for an HDR shot because those dang highlights are so hard to capture.

I think you got this one down, just had to wait for a sunbeam to come through at noon. Maybe more saturation?

Wow Sam . . . and all I have is a space under the house!! :) LoL! Awesome spot to shoot in! How is it there are no people standing over there?

I've heard that it's not easy capturing the slot canyons due to the lighting conditions. This is exposed perfectly to show the canyon walls with their rich earthy tones. I must say I do like this one much better than the second post. I think that is mainly due to the fact that I can tell what I'm looking at here vs the dark areas of the second post.

so nice place, been there this summer. a photograph paradise. Great capture of the roks... maybe a little bit to much brown. If I remember, there's more red in this place... maybe it's the avalaible light. Great composition.

Excellent! Love the composition that highlights the contours and the texture of the rocks in this shot.
