About Ok, Jas, Peta and Robin. You all are right. It was way to flat.

So...I did a smart Sharpen...Levels adjustment and re-balanced the brightness and boosted up the contrast.

Is this better?

Coming along late as usual Sam I get the benefit of instantaneous comparison. This is a great shot with wonderful colours and superb details. The intervention of our friends at Adobe is, unfortunately, a much needed assist to digital photography and your work in this field is first class. Whatever did we do before PS came along? Well done to you my friend. Sorry I'm late but work always gets in the way.. My very best wishes to you and to Kim and Grace as well....Ray

Looks like I've seen this one before (lol). I looked at both versions and it's hard to pick one that I like best. I think this one with the boosted contrast would get my vote. The details stand out a bit more.

The image very sharp and clear. Looks like this flower was cut in half to get the image. Stunning!

Hey, that's pretty cool - I never thought about ripping one apart before I shot it. Seems original to me. It's also crisp and sharp, with good colors. I like it.
