Thanks for the comment Roland . . . I do appreciate that very much! I did look into various contrast settings . . . but there was a trade-off in increasing it . . . the hazy feel at the bay opening suffered. There was a balancing act and this was a result which I wanted although, clearly, others may have other preferences . . . certainly on something that subjective. And the comment you left does help very much in considering that issue for future shots (not to mention make me want to take a second look at this one). Any comment that makes you think is a good one!

Excellent perspective of the city by the bay. A great place but an arm & leg to live in (HeHe), anyway the sepia worked well here Doyle though I'd increase the contrast a little more, otherwise superb capture.

Well, apparently Marlyce took the words right out of my mouth because that was my very first thought about this presentation. The white buildings and sepia tone just scream out "20s". Great photo and good post-processing.

Right on! Isn't it great when a plan comes together. You nailed this one. I had to double take and look closer to make sure it wasn't a much older shot. Fantastic detail and clarity. Ought to be used as an add for Tamron lenses.:)

Well, I agree with Marlyce- it certainly does look alot older. I like that effect as it seems sort of historical. (I was going to say timeless, but then you'd have to knock the sky scrapers down!!)

WOW Doyle,....great landscape image. The sepia treatment perfect for the effect you wanted. I really like the composition here, the cityscape in the FG and those beautiful mountains giving height in the BG, there is a lovely hazy feel to this shot. Excellent photo. R:) :)
