You've captured his devotion quite nicely Doyle, it is evident that he has no interest in anything except his beloved handler! I like that you included the handler's leg in your composition/crop, it helps connect the line of the leash and ultimately the handler's hand even though it's out of frame. Cute little bugger too...reminds me of my son's dogs, not full blood beagles but a mix...beagle and pug, adorable "Puggles" with perfect, compact form! That's a huge compliment coming from me...I'm not a dog lover, just a dog liker!
