Howdy pops!
Slight curve and color balance, along w/ the crop and matte is all that was needed. The polar filter helped out a bit, but killed me on depth. Wish I would of opened it up a bit more to get more detail in there.
...mmm... fresh from the farmers.. ;)

You are so right again.. as I mentioned in my comment back to Hugo, you are correct.. the crop should of been tighter. I wish I had the DOF to pull off a tigher crop with detail, and hold that "oh so loved" abstract that I always shoot for.

So there with you on your comments. The steel did get a little too cyan in the mix. In the end, I should of listened to Petal's suggestion of cropping it all out. I was not too happy w/ my f/ on this one.. should of opened it up a bit more.

Outstanding, Joel. Did this require much post processing or is it close to a "crop & cut" only?

Heyyyyyy what's up Doc... ???!!! High carat eh carrot content, this image... LOL!! Great details, color (ORAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... okay I won't make too much fuss this time... ;-D), crop and composition... well done!! I would've probably 'got rid of' that patch of blue/grey in the bottom right corner for it 'removes' the abstract and frame filling 'mood'...

Hi Joel,
Good presentation, and square composition. Somehow the tones seem just a little unnatural, and looking at the cool, cyan wash in the surface, that might well be a slight mismatch in whitebalance. Good textures and details, though, and a well captured image.
