Thanks Dave. Yes, I had thought about the model being too central, but when I looked at the image with many cropping options, none pleased me. I also like it the way it is.
Your comments are most appreciated.
Warm Wishes, Aniko

I really like your lighting, here, Aniko. I especially like the fade at the knees. Excellent pose and composition. Some may say it is too centered but I like this the way it is.
Best wishes, Dave

Thanks Paul... :)BTW I found the old Mamiya and details have been amended in the info on this pic. I rarely use the Mamiya as I have no patience! However, it is a great camera and I must develop at least a little patience as it is a valuable tool, especially if I wish to make HUGE enlargements of anything that might be worth printing...
Take Care, Aniko :)

Thank you Alex for seeing this image in a healthy manner! I am not young, but I agree that the beauty of a woman (or a man for that matter) can be displayed in what perhaps could be classed as a glamour or even fashion image, revealing nothing and leaving the mind to imagination. I like the pose of this cute model, and usually when photographing "glamour", the pose is more important to me then anything, as it shows the beauty of the human form.
And this image was never in colour. Shot is black and white.
Cheers! Aniko :)

Glamour images are probably the best way to show the beauty of a woman. Maybe it's because of my youth, maybe it's because of my slightly artistic nature, but I love this kind of photography. Revealing nothing, and yet having the feeling that you see most (if not everything) is an excellent ideea. How did the coloured picture look like? By the way, the model is cute.

Wow .....Yes indeed that covers a lot of ground Aniko! :) Thanks for the info. I find it very interesting when such great photos are created with bare bones equipment as such you do. Many people think you have to go broke to get such quality work as in your case you prove so well that this is not at all true and you do it soooo well! There within lies the talent! I look forward to seeing more of you great work in the future Aniko. Thanks again for you time to write........ Don't get wore out going up and down the stairs and for God sakes don't over do the back! I know what that is like! Warm wishing and best of luck to you as well!! Take care and again thanks Aniko.

Dear Paul: This shot was made long ago. Lighting was simple. A few 500 watt ancient lamps as I recall. The black backdrop and floor coverings were easy. I have a lot of large cloths and backdrops in assorted colours and textures. Often a makeshift studio was even created outdoors! (I would hang up a piece of say velvet on a fence or whatever, and position the model in front of it. Simple gold, silver or white reflectors were used to catch the natural light. Many people found it difficult to know the shot was in fact an outdoor one!) However, in this shot, it was indoors and I have no idea where my Mamiya is now or I would have been more specific. (Doing a huge clean up in the house and my back and knees are not enjoying the long walk up and down stairs at the moment.) I hope this ramble answers your question to some extent, anyway, and thank you for your interest, Paul. Warm wishes, Aniko :)
