The many faces this bridge has are amazing. No wonder you like taking pictures of it so much. What a beautiful muted night scene. I like the stark blac tree in the foreground, adds more depth to the picture. Nice capture.

Oh no wonder it's your favourite bridge. It's gorgeous with all that snow underneath. There's just something so fresh, clean and moody about snow that makes any photograph look so special in my opinion. Beautiful soft tones in this image. Lovely composition and mood. Beautiful shot Dave.

Hi Bill, thanks for your comment! The batteries do tend to die a lot quicker in the cold weather, so I carry spares, and lately I've been experiencing problems with changing menus after replacing batteries in the cold, I don't know if it's a switch problem caused by the cold. The lens will fog up when it's cold and you come inside, as well.

Nice long exposure image, nice tone...there does seem to be a strange outline around the tree branches and tree trunk...you have any trouble with battery life in that cold weather? How about lens fog when going inside and outside the car?

Beautiful sepia tones to this shot of THE bridge. It looks a lot bigger than I originally thought Dave and this is a great night shot at distance. I think you have done so well at what was a pretty fast aperture of 2.8. Well done to you my friend...Take care out there...Ray
